Orders and Planning

There are several options available for ordering and payment. Each option is designed to suit the needs of individual schools:
   - Official order placed by the school with the association, with payment made by the association. This is the simplest and cheapest method.
   - Direct sale to parents. As on Amazon, the teacher distributes the payment slip to their class. The parent logs into the platform and pays for their book. They then receive the book directly at home. The teacher does not have to handle the payment follow- . The 2026 delivery charges for the first book are reduced and will be €5 instead of €9.15.
   - Bulk purchase: to reduce postage costs, a payment link is generated with reduced delivery charges (minimum order of 5 books). To benefit from the reduced rate, parents must pay before a deadline. The parcel is sent directly to the teacher at school. This option is particularly suited to primary schools.
   - Order placed by the teacher and payment made by parents via the association’s payment platform. The teacher places an order with the association, which sends all the books to them. They distribute the books to each pupil along with the payment slip. This method of ordering is no longer the association’s preferred option. This is because it requires close monitoring by the teacher, and in previous years we have had numerous issues with unpaid books, which have resulted in a time-consuming follow-up process for the association’s staff. Without this rigorous monitoring of payments by the teacher, it is no longer possible to offer this option.
   - For primary school: the teacher, in conjunction with the class treasurer, collects the money for the books. As soon as the collection is complete, the teacher/treasurer makes a bank transfer from their personal account to the association. This option requires monitoring by the subject coordinator. There are sometimes delays in payments or errors in the ‘reference’ field during the transfer. Bulk purchasing is preferable.
   - Other solutions are available in the event of any issues. The association also has an online shop. Please do not hesitate to contact us; we will always find a solution to facilitate the distribution of books.

As soon as possible, please email your estimated requirements tocontact@ppcbook.org . You do not need to use the order form. If required, the association will provide you with an indicative quote. If you collect books, please ensure you clearly note the reference in the list of books distributed to parents

The order schedule is as follows:
   - Before 15 August, please let us know which classes you will be teaching, even if you do not have the exact pupil numbers. It is better to order more books than you estimate you will need. Having to restock several times after the start of term takes us a lot of time to prepare and is very costly in terms of postage. We would like to remind you that the teacher is not financially responsible for any books left in stock at the school. Only books that have been distributed are invoiced to parents.
   - Before the start of the school year, please provide us with the names of the classes and teachers so we can set up the payment platform (if this payment option has been chosen). You can provide us with the exact number of pupils after the start of the school year.
